Dear Mr. Barty Crouch, Jr.,

I am writing to you so that you may be well informed and up to date about your mother's condition, and to alleviate some of her responsibility to keep those close to her abreast of her medical situation. Though she is stable, resting, and well monitored now, in the past 40 days your mother has suffered two separate retroperitoneal haemorrhages, cases of spontaneous bleeding into the back cavity between the abdominal wall and the lining of the organ tissues. In both cases the bleeding was discovered very early on and your mother was administered emergency treatments which stopped further damage. I assure you that she is her usual self again and in the best care possible. Her condition is being looked after at home by your mother and father both, and by me personally. I know from many years of experience that it can often difficult for families to speak to one another completely openly when conditions worsen or change, and I am dedicated to being a mediator so you all can have both accurate information and constant support.

I also hope that in light of this you will reconsider my suggestion to take advantage of the care available to you. I have been apart of watching over your family's health for many years now and, though your mother is my patient, your personal wellness is important to me as well. In cases where conditions may run in the family, preventative care, regular check up visits, and screening cannot be overvalued. We can easily arrange an appointment at your convenience either at St. Mungo's hospital or through private visits, or if you would prefer to see a different Healer I can facilitate that and find one suited to your needs. I am reachable by owl at any time of the day and my door is always open to you if you have any questions or concerns about your mother or yourself.
