Hestia,

The last time we saw one another I was hoping to chat you up but missed the chance to and have been positively stewing in regret ever since. In lieu of lurking around your workplace hoping to orchestrate some kind of pseudo-accidental run-in (tiresome, don't you think?) or waiting until the next time we get together (much too long to wait), I thought I'd cut to the chase. I think you're attractive and very clever and I'd like to get to know you better. Can I take you out to Florean's for an ice cream?

*The flighty owl dropping the note off startles Hestia, who is sitting lazily in her self-dubbed thinking chair with a copy of Spellman's Syllabary in her lap, her cat Tarius curled at her feet. She retrieves the note and begins to read, her curious look turning into that of a smile as she reads the letter. Can I take you out to Florean's for an ice cream? she says aloud as she reads the letter a second time.

It is very rarely that she hears someone exude such natural confidence while being justified as such, and while most men bore her with their prideful inanities, there's something different about this man and this letter. The Handsomer Twin.

Normally Hestia would owl Lily right away to consult on what she should possibly do, but a different sort of excitement stirs within her. She sits at her desk and begins writing back, her normally perfect penmanship suffering only slightly from her shaking nerves.*
