*When Fabian shows up he's a bit late, but he's much tidier than usual. His tendency toward carelessness tends to manifest in his appearance as well as his workspace (and bedroom, and anywhere in the flat he goes, and everything he owns) - he's usually a little rumpled, and it's not unusual for him to sport a couple of days' worth of stubble or leave his hair a mess. Today, though, his clothes aren't even wrinkled. If he weren't already identical to Gideon, it'd have upped their resemblance.
Feeling rushed but determinedly buoyant, he clangs out of the lift and joins Alice, glancing around for Scrimgeour.*
